Terms of Use

1. What this service is

PayApplicationGenerator.com is a free tool for preparing construction payment application documents (pay applications, progress claims, applications for payment, and similar). You fill in your own information; the service formats it into a downloadable PDF. By using the service you accept these terms.

2. Provided as-is, without warranty

The service, including all calculations, templates, and generated documents, is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

3. You are responsible for your documents

Calculations are provided as a convenience. You must verify every amount, rate, and statement in a generated document before signing or submitting it. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of documents you generate and for their compliance with your contract and applicable law.

4. Not legal, financial, or professional advice

Nothing on this site is legal, financial, accounting, or construction-contract advice. Payment application requirements, retainage rules, notarization requirements, and statutory payment regimes vary by jurisdiction and by contract. Consult a qualified professional for advice about your situation.

5. Third-party forms and trademarks

This service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by the American Institute of Architects. AIA, G702, and G703 are trademarks of their respective owners. Documents generated here use an original layout; if your contract requires official AIA or other proprietary forms, obtain them from their publisher.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the service or of documents generated with it — including losses resulting from calculation errors, document rejection, or payment disputes.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to create fraudulent or misleading documents, to misrepresent amounts owed or work performed, or in violation of any law. You may not attempt to disrupt or overload the service.

8. Changes

We may update the service and these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. These terms were last updated on July 8, 2026.
